背景介绍
PLEKHO1, also named as CK2 interacting protein 1 or oc120, is a 409 amino acid protein, which contains one PH domain. PLEKHO1 Predominantly localizes to the plasma membrane. PLEKHO1 plays a role in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton through its interactions with actin capping protein (CP). PLEKHO1 is highly expressed in skeletal muscle and heart, moderately in kidney, liver, brain and placenta and sparingly in the pancreas and lung.
