PNX-14 is a novel neuropeptide, protecting human brain vascular endothelial cells against oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R)-induced inflammation and permeability, significantly ameliorating HFD-induced obesity and fatty liver, regulating pituitary gonadotropin secretion by modulating the expression of the GnRH receptor.
Recent studies indicate PNX-14 is a neuropeptide with potential anti-inflammatory effects in the gastrointestinal tract.
