背景介绍
7-Ethyl-10-hydroxycamptothecin (SN38), a highly potent metabolite of irinotecan, has an anticancer efficacy 100–1000 folds more than irinotecan in vitro. SN-38 is a topoisomerase I inhibitor and SN-38 inhibits DNA and RNA synthesis with IC50s of 0.077 and 1.3 μM, respectively.
